| I've read that some use the aquamist water injection to spray the air to air intercoolers (rather than injected into the intake stream like Z1's system). Why not have a water injection system do both? Then it seems like you would have the best of both worlds on the intercooler side(in terms of water to air vs. air to air) plus you could run more boost safely. For drag racing the water would allow the intercoolers to stay cooler for longer like the water to air system. For road racing, the intercoolers would not suffer from heat soak b/c the hot air vaporized/evaporates. One might need a separate tank for all of this water consumption, but to me it sounds good on paper.
